The New Zealand Earthquake Commission worked with M&C Saatchi, Wellington, to produce a newspaper advertisement raising awareness of its work. The press ad was placed in the middle of two pages, with the fold in the middle, illustrating the tectonic fault lines running through New Zealand.

“When a country lies on a fault, natural disasters are inevitable. That’s why the Earthquake Commission covers damage caused by earthquakes, landslips, volcanic eruptions, tsunami, and hydrothermal activity. And it’s good to know cover is automatically available to anyone with home and/or contents insurance. To find out more visit eqc.govt.nz or call 0800 326-243.
