Travelling to Kingaroy on Saturday I stopped to take photographs of a hill of red soil. Australia is known for its red dirt but this was one of the first times I’d had the opportunity to put it into print.

Hi Duncan, great pic. We went to Kingaroy when cruising up the inland route in September 04. Big peanut place isn’t there?… and not a bad little winery.
We parked our motorhome on a reserve overlooking the town, great views across to the Bunyas, outbreaks of fires in different places.
Would be a nice town to live in.
