White Ribbon Day 2006 Against Domestic Violence in Australia

White Ribbon Day, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, is being promoted in Australia through a provocative campaign aimed at everyday fathers. Men’s love for their daughters is being connected with a concern for their future wellbeing. Prepared to jump in front of a bus if it meant protecting your daughter? Well if there’s nothing you wouldn’t do for her, start by wearing a white ribbon November 25. And help stop your daughter becoming one of the 57 % of Australian women who suffer from violent male abuse in their lifetime. For advice on how to stop or report violence, visit whiteribbonday.org.au or freecall 1800 200 526.
