Heinz Salad Cream provides the focus for Pourable Sunshine, a British TV advert featuring the song, “Ladybug Picnic”. Victor Johnson sings the song made famous on Sesame Street while picnickers and their pets arrive in a sun-bleached park for their picnic. A Volkswagen Beetle with roof rack provides just the right hint of nostalgia. The Heinz Salad Cream bottle is squeezed in picnics, squirted by young adults at one another, and stolen by a pet dog. The 60 second version finishes with a pair of shorts sitting on the the bottle.
A series of 10 second shorts, with funny little moments from the picnic, support the campaign. See Deckchair, Caterpillar, Kissing.
