Amnesty International has just run Freedom Week in New Zealand (28th July to 2nd August). Boutique advertising agency HooperNagel developed “In The Dark”, a TV ad to remind people about the campaign for human rights. Viewers are able to hear two voices – a prisoner and his interrogator. It gets ugly. “If imagining this without pictures was hard enough, try imagining it without sound. Help them be heard. Call 0900 AMNESTY to make a $20 donation.”

In The Dark Credits
In The Dark was developed at HooperNagel by art directors/ copywriters Jonathan Horner, Kat Gwilliam and Stefan Tarr.
Post production was done at Toybox by VFX Artist Jason Judd and producer Trinette Norton.
As Nobel Peace Prize winner and human rights icon Elie Wiesel said about prisoners of conscience, “When their voices are stifled we shall lend them ours, while their freedom depends on ours, the quality of our freedom depends on theirs”.
