Apple MacBook dethrones PC

Apple has just announced a series of improvements for the MacBook series, good news for those people who have been waiting to transfer their files from a PC system to an Apple system. The “Get A Mac” series has a TV advertisement explaining just how easy that will be: “Throne”.

PC admits that Vista’s a bit of a hassle but contends that switching computers is an even bigger hassle. “So while you may have a better operating system I’m not losing any of my subjects to you.” Mac explains that PC users buying Apple computers can have their files transferred over for free. “I banish you! You’re banished!”, says PC.

The new MacBook Pro comes with a precision aluminum unibody enclosure, and ultrathin 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, up to 5x faster NVIDIA graphics performance, and an all-new, smooth glass Multi-Touch trackpad. Unfortunately for video editors, the new series comes without a Firewire connection.
