Björk, the Icelandic singer/songwriter, has launched a music video for her new single, Dull Flame of Desire, featuring Antony Hegarty from Antony & The Johnsons. The music video, released on September 15, is an amalgam of three videos developed by the three runners up in the Innocence video competition, from Germany, Japan and Spain. This single is due out on 22nd of October.
Björk and Antony performed against green screen in New York. The raw footage was sent to the three directors Christoph Jantos (Berlin), Masahiro Mogari (Tokyo) and Marçal Cuberta Junca (Girona). Each director was given their own section of the film to develop as they wished. The three videos were then edited together in London.

Dull Flame of Desire Lyrics
‘The Dull Flame of Desire’ features lyrics taken from a translation of a poem by Russian poet Fyodor Tyutchev as it appears in the film ‘Stalker’ by Andrei Tarkovsky.
I love your eyes, my dear
Their splendid sparkling fire
When suddenly you raise them so
To cast a swift embracing glance
Like lightning flashing in the sky
But there’s a charm that is greater still
When my love’s eyes are lowered
When all is fired by passion’s kiss
And through the downcast lashes
I see the dull flame of desire
