Durex Has New Jobs for Storks

Durex is promoting Extra Safe Condoms with a subtle play on the delivery role of white storks. The white stork in Western culture is a symbol of childbirth and has been used in children’s nursery stories to explain the arrival of babies. In this advertising campaign from New Zealand the storks no longer carry babies wrapped in a sling. They’ve had to diversify into delivery of flowers, mail and pizzas.
