HP India demonstrates the longevity of its prints from the RPS printer with photographs of the Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum of Rome, and the Qutb Minar in Delhi, in their better days. Clearly this is an exercise of imagination. What if we’d had digital cameras when these edifices were built? Would the photographs have out survived the buildings?
The Colosseum was built between 70 and 80 AD in Rome. The Leaning Tower of Pisa (Torre pendente di Pisa), the bell tower for the cathedral in Pisa, was constructed between 1173 and 1372. The Qutb Minar was erected in Delhi between 1193 and 1396. Shown here is evidence of the tower that was being built next to the Qutb Minar that has since been reduced to rubble.
