Louis Vuitton on Global Journey

Louis Vuitton, the luxury French fashion and leather goods company, has launched a 90 second television advertisement as part of their first ever global brand campaign. The spot, “A Journey”, shows men and women encountering their world in scenes from China, India and Paris. The question, “Does the person create the journey, or does the journey create the person?”, is asked in thirteen different languages in select theaters, and on cable/satellite channels throughout 2008.

Louis Vuitton’s press release explains… “Poetically juxtaposing the founding essence of the Louis Vuitton brand which resides in the passion and art of travel to our own life’s journey, Bruno has beautifully captured some of the most quintessential moments that we have all but experienced at one point in time when we travel, where our senses and sense of awe are surpassed by the absolute beauty of a place, of a moment.”

“These moments seem to awaken our being not by just with what we see, but with what we feel. Indeed, it is these personal moments of wonder that involuntarily bind us to beauty of the unknown and they themselves travel with us until the end of time.”
