Subaru in Canada raised a few eyebrows with the launch of the Sexy Subaru Forester photography shoot, featuring world champion Sumo wrestler Byambajav Ulambayar, online at today’s site of the day, www.sexysubaru.ca
The Subaru Sumo image is represented by Byambajav Ulambayar, the current and two-time World Sumo Champion. After spending five years in Japanese professional sumo, and attaining a high rank, “Byamba” decided to compete internationally, and has since won every tournament he has entered, winning over 100 matches in tournaments all over the world – with gold medals every time: in Japan, Mongolia, Thailand, USA, Italy, Germany, and more. Visitors to the site are given opportunities to capture Ulambayar in their own photograph.
Carwash
Traffic to the site was driven by Carwash, a video featuring one very dirty Subaru Forester being washed by six playful Sumo wrestlers. Music in the Carwash ad is “Danger High Voltage” by Detroit band Electric Six.
